The biggest issue I had when proofreading with ChatGPT was the endless copy-paste cycle. I'd write everything in MS Word (because let's face it—Word's Track Changes mode is unbeatable!), then I'd paste chunks into ChatGPT for proofreading, wait, and afterward I'd find myself stuck comparing two texts side-by-side, manually hunting for edits to move them back into Word. It was messy, frustrating, and definitely not efficient. I searched everywhere for a solution—something to seamlessly integrate ChatGPT’s suggestions directly into Word’s Track Changes—but everything I found was external, separate from Word itself. I just wanted simplicity: proofreading right within the Word document where my original text already lived. Eventually, out of sheer frustration, I decided to build exactly what I needed: a tool that lets ChatGPT proofread directly inside Microsoft Word, with edits clearly visible as tracked changes. I figured I couldn’t be the only one struggling with this, so I decided to create WordGPT.Pro to allow myself to proofread effortlessly within MS Word, keeping all edits organized neatly in Track Changes without ever needing to switch applications again. It solved my copy-paste headache, saved me tons of time, and now I'm excited to see if it can help others too!
