👋 Hey Product Hunters! I made FirstRowChat to solve a frustrating problem I kept running into while coding with LLMs. 🤔 Problem Most AI coding assistants require copy-pasting between the browser and your IDE. This disrupts your workflow and makes it harder to keep track of changes. On top of that, LLM chat tools don’t work seamlessly with every dev environment—but we’re already used to working in a browser. So instead of changing your IDE or workflow, FirstRowChat enhances the browser-based LLM experience, removing the tedious task of copy-pasting and losing track of what changed. ⚡ Solution FirstRowChat lets you: ✅ Attach files from your local system and edit them with an LLM. ✅ Apply changes instantly, no copy-pasting. ✅ Use multiple LLMs like OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini. ✅ Try it for free, bring your own API keys, or subscribe and use our managed API keys. ✅ Works in your browser, but edits your actual files—IDE-agnostic. 💬 What people are saying Dax on Twitter said: 📢 "This is a very good flow and every LLM app needs to copy it." 🔗 Read the tweet here: https://x.com/thdxr/status/18944... 🚀 Try it out! Would love to hear what you think! What LLMs do you use the most? How do you integrate AI into your coding?

@masump personally I tend to use a mix of gpt4o and claude 3.5, I havent had that much success using the newer claude model. I am a heavy user of nvim so I have mostly been using the existing web apps from open ai and anthropic, since I didnt want change my ide or look into some nvim plugins for using llms, so FirstRowChat solved my biggest issue with my current worklflow which is having to manually go back and forth and replace the code snippets. How about you? What is your preferred use of LLMs?

Wow this looks amazing
