🚀 Hi Product Hunt!
For the past seven years, I’ve been building a travel chatbot that finds cheap flights and tracks airfare prices. Over time, it has grown to 2 million+ subscribers. Since price tracking has always been at its core, I’ve learned a lot about airline pricing trends and patterns.
Now, with that knowledge + the power of AI, we’ve built something new: a service that predicts how flight prices will change — helping you buy at the right time and save money. Our algorithm analyzes historical flight data alongside factors like seasonality, airline pricing strategies, route popularity, day of the week, and more.
🎯 How accurate is it?
Pretty damn accurate! Of course, no one can guarantee a 100% hit rate — there are always unpredictable variables. But based on our testing, it rarely misses. We’re also continuously monitoring and refining the algorithm to make it even more precise.

I worked on this product as an engineer, and I’m excited to see the first iteration go live. It’s a relief, but definitely not the end of the road — there’s still a lot ahead!
Some challenges I faced:
- Combining predictive algorithms with AI forecasts
- Testing different approaches and AI integrations
- Fear of Skynet 😆
We’re already planning to roll out new features and refine the prediction algorithm in the near future.

@agilek AI can forecast price changes due to different factors like holiday seasons or economic events etc. On top of it we are also able to calculate specific flights price changes via our predictive algorithms (calculations based on minimum month price, mistake fares, amount of competitive flights with same price and much more). So combining it all together was one of big challenges.
This is a timely product for me. I’ve been looking at flight tickets recently but hesitated to buy them. Good luck to your launch!

@kay_arkain Thanks, Kay! Yes, the algorithm covers both international and domestic flights. Since pricing dynamics often work differently for each (e.g., different pricing models, patterns etc), we take that into account in our predictions

How accurate are the predictions, and does it cover all airlines globally?

@mrrabbar Thanks, Savvas! Based on our tests, predictions are accurate about 8–9 times out of 10, as they rely on real historical data. That said, unexpected fluctuations can still happen due to market dynamics.
