Readefine

I've also struggled with "Users also read..." or "Others who like this book read these next..." recommendations. They lack personalization and don't take into account whether people actually like those books they read next. Beyond that, there is not a reason why those books should be recommended for me in particular. Readefine aims to target this issue by providing personalized recommendations, based on a title, but articulate WHY each recommendation is likely a fit. Recommendations are driven by character types, storylines, plot setting, development and connections between characters, etc. The ultimate goal: identify a solid recommendation unlikely to end up on your DNF list. Everyone is busy and most have a never-ending TBR list that is riddled with titles unlikely to provide the satisfaction that person seeks, and deserves... We are working to correct that by building a better reading companion. We do not seek to target or fully replace Goodreads, Kindle, etc. Readefine is a supplement to those communities and platforms by adding substance and value to the lists they hold.
