Design to Doc

As a designer, I’ve always taken pride in crafting thoughtful and intentional designs. But translating those designs into something developers can seamlessly interpret? That was a different story. Documentation often felt like an afterthought, yet it was the critical link between vision and execution. I remember a project where I unknowingly used multiple typefaces in my design. This mistake could have cost me the trust of a client—or worse, an opportunity—if it had been caught later. It wasn’t just about catching errors; it was about feeling confident in the quality of my work. I realized that if I struggled with this, others probably did too. This was a personal frustration I couldn’t ignore, and it sparked the idea for Design to Doc.
