A digital zine for the jobless and disillusioned. From ghost jobs to unrealistic hiring expectations, we're pulling back the curtain on what job seekers are really up against in today's broken job market.

I built 404: Job Market Not Found because the job market feels broken for so many people — plenty of job openings, but millions stuck in endless loops of silence, ghosting, and rejection. I wanted to create a space where those frustrations are acknowledged honestly, where job seekers can find real stories, resources, and a sense of community.
This isn’t your usual career blog, LinkedIn feed or job board. It cuts through the noise and shows what it’s really like to be unemployed or stuck job hunting right now — the frustrating and false stuff nobody talks about, like ghost jobs, hiring gaslighting, and how exhausting it can be. It’s part investigation, part space to vent.
I’m proud that this blog gives voice to people often ignored by mainstream narratives — the millions who don’t get callbacks, whose resumes disappear into the void. It’s a space that validates their experience.
I want to thank those of you who see the value in this project and upvoted. It means a lot.
