Hi Product Hunt community! After months of hard work, we are so excited to present to you Provent, your all-inclusive productivity, chrome extension! We started Provent in the midst of the pandemic, where working and studying at home was starting to take a toll on both of us. That's when the idea came, to create a tool that helps us stop getting distracted using the Pomodoro Technique, 25-minute work sessions followed by 5-minute breaks. As we built this product, we continued to receive amazing feedback and ideas. We added a to-do list function, a Google calendar embed, youtube and Spotify music embeds and more! As someone who manually edits their /etc/hosts file to block annoying domains, this extension saves me so so much time. With how expensive other pomodoro and web-blocking apps are these days, Provent is definitely a hidden gem!
