Hello Product Hunters! We build an open source JavaScript plugin which allows to make high quality, detail focused, 360-view images. There are lots of cool features included: Some of the features: - Use a sequence of 8 to 200 images. - Autoplay, zoom, full screen view, bottom 360 view circle, keyboard access, inner box shadow functions. - The plugin automatically optimizes the images to the right quality and size to load it fast to all kind of devices (desktop and smartphone). You can load the images from your local folder or use Cloudimage. If used with Cloudimage, it automatically optimize all the images and loads it through the CDN network. In future releases: - Option to make a spinning image from video - Y-axis support - A database of 360 photographers to help you get the high quality images It uses canvas to draw the images for better and smooth user experience. The plugin works in all modern browsers and supports IE 10+. Increase your product sales with a detailed 360 degrees view. Feel free to use it for your projects!

You can use the plugin not only for 360 product view. As idea for renting homes, you can make the camera to be set at the focal point instead of the object and you can spin around and view the room that you are in. check a quick example for outdoor and indoor view: https://cdn.scaleflex.it/demo/ho... (photo credits: Bush-Jaeger) we need to do some work on it (nice arrows, forbid to go from last to first image, and a few more things) but it’s already usable

There is also almost pure CSS solution for the similar 360-Degree Viewer: https://picturepan2.github.io/sp... 🤞

@picturepan2 Thanks for sharing. Yes, it's a great simple solution to achieve that. However, it is not user friendly to use range input to spin images. Moreover, you cannot zoom, see it in full size screen and it doesn't automatically optimize the images to the right quality and size to load it fast to all kind of devices (desktop and smartphone). Our plugin provides all these features.

Hey, guys is it possible to use the script easily without storing images on Cloudimage?

@vladkorobov , hey, thanks for asking! You may not need to store your images on Cloudimage or use the Cloudimage token if you don't need responsive features (or you can make it yourself or use any other service). Only responsive features require Cloudimage token. However, it's great to use the Cloudimage service as you don't need to worry about resizing and compressing images for all devices or different screen width. You can check how cloudimage-responsive works in the article here: https://medium.com/cloudimage/re...
