2019 Persuasion Index: The 100 most persuasive, seamless webshops in online retail

Hi fellow hunters! We've been working on this project tirelessly for the last five months. You can't imagine how relieved I am to finally release it! A bit of background, Crobox is an AI technology solution that offers persuasion software that generates some pretty in-depth customer intelligence. We're firm believers in creating shopper experiences that are tailored to the individual and their psychological needs. In doing so, you'll have less stressed and more satisfied shoppers. We created this list by evaluating various elements related to persuasive and UX design. These principles drove the scoring framework, which was developed by our team of psychologists. Each webshop was scored in fluency (in other words, seamlessness or flow), persuasion, and insights as well as listed strengths and opportunities of the sites. The top ten also has some standout features that helped them earn their positions. Finally, we created a trend report. This covers twenty-three trends that we uncovered based on the evaluations. It is probably the most actionable of the whole project, so I'd highly recommend a download. As a very final, but equally important note, I'd like to mention our stance on "persuasion." We believe there is a clear distinction between persuasion and manipulation. While our technology looks to nudge people in a specific direction, we do not seek to force or push people to do something they do not want. Crobox is *strongly* against the use of Dark Patterns that nudge people in a way that is dishonest or misleading. We strive to highlight product and brand characteristics that appeal to individuals on a psychological level to make their experiences less cumbersome. And at this point, the only familiar way to describe what we're looking to do is with the notorious word "persuasion." If you have any questions or comments, give me a shout!
