A free, open source macOS menu bar app. It lines up your Claude Code, Codex, Grok and Kimi terminal windows in Warp or Ghostty. A mint frame means a session is done, an amber frame means it needs you. It's 100% local and not connected to the Internet.

Hi, I'm Kevin from Basel. I run a small e-commerce company with AI agents.
Some days I have 15 or more AI sessions open at once, and I kept losing track of which one was done and which one was waiting for my answer. So I built Lookout.
Lookout is a small macOS menu bar app. It lines up the terminal windows of your Claude Code, Codex, Grok and Kimi sessions in Warp or Ghostty. A finished session gets a soft mint frame, one that needs you gets an amber frame, and the window you work in has no frame. The menu bar icon has no numbers and nothing blinks.
I design the tools and AI writes the code. Claude Code wrote Lookout, first in Swift and since version 4 in Rust. Version 4 is a rewrite that keeps the behavior of the Swift version. Codex, GLM, Muse and Grok reviewed the Rust version, and there are 188 automated tests.
It's for anyone who runs many AI terminal sessions at once on a Mac with macOS 26 or later. It's free and open source under the MIT license, and Lookout itself never connects to the internet.
Which terminal or AI tool should Lookout support next?
