Wurd is a voice keyboard for Mac, Windows and Android. Hold a hotkey (or tap the mic on Android), speak in any of 74 languages, and clean text appears where your cursor is: fillers and false starts left out, your meaning kept. Switch to Translate and Wurd types it in another language in the same step, so you can speak Bangla and send English. Free: 2,000 words a week. Pro: $12 a month, with a 14-day Pro trial, no card. The iPhone app is waiting on Apple’s review.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Sunny, the maker of Wurd.
My day is split between Bangla and English. I think in one and write in the other, and typing Bangla on a normal keyboard is slow. The voice typing I tried either didn’t know my language or gave me text I had to clean up before I could send it.
So I built Wurd. It’s a voice keyboard. On a Mac you hold fn and talk, on Windows it’s Ctrl + Win. Let go and the text lands where your cursor is. On Android it’s a keyboard, plus a floating mic if you’d rather keep your own keyboard.
There are two modes:
Dictate: speak in any of 74 languages and get clean text in that language. The ums go, and when you correct yourself it keeps the corrected version. It doesn’t catch every correction yet, but it gets most of them.
Translate: speak in one language and it types in another, in one step. This is the one I use most. I talk in Bangla and it writes English.
Two things I was strict about: it shouldn’t add anything you didn’t say, and numbers are checked against what you actually said. So “4,200, no sorry, 4,520” comes out as 4,520.
Free is 2,000 words a week. Pro is $12 a month, and there’s a 14-day Pro trial with no card.
To be upfront: the iPhone app is still waiting on Apple’s review, and the Windows build isn’t code-signed yet, so SmartScreen will ask you once.
I’d love to know which language you tried and where it got something wrong. That’s the feedback that helps me most.
