Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Philip, I started Datashake in 2020.
For six years we've collected review and social data for teams to build things with it. The data was always incredible, but getting to use it was tricky.
You needed someone technical to fetch it, somewhere to store it, and usually a dashboard on top. And the thing that’s always bugged me about dashboards is that you have to decide what you’re looking for before you’ve even started looking. Whatever nobody thought to chart just doesn’t exist.
So we built the Datashake MCP. You connect it to your AI assistant and ask the data a question the way you’d ask a colleague:
→ “Get me all the mentions of [brand] over the last week”
→ “What are people complaining about most in [product]’s reviews?”
→ “Is what they say in reviews different from what they post on social?”
The data comes back structured, from more than 160+ sources, and you keep going in the same chat. If something looks odd, you can ask about it. If that leads somewhere, you can follow it. Which is usually where the good stuff is.
The first report I made with it took me 14 minutes. Which would have taken days before.
You can try it for free. Sign up, grab your 20 free searches and connect it in a few minutes.
being able to ask for a week's mentions in the same chat would save some export juggling
i'd still want the dates and source links kept with the rows so it's easy to check the assistant's summary
