I built Frontrumors as an independent, MacRumors-style site for frontier AI models. Follow model news and rumors, browse a model guide, sort benchmark tables and compare published API input and output prices. The pricing page includes provider links, source-check dates and notes on access restrictions and introductory rates. Frontrumors is not affiliated with MacRumors.

I built Frontrumors because I wanted one place to keep up with frontier AI models. There are so many releases, rumors, benchmarks and pricing changes that it’s hard to know what’s worth trying or when to switch, especially when I’m nearing a usage limit.
I’ve always liked how MacRumors lays things out, particularly its Buyer’s Guide. I wanted something with that same practical feel for AI models: a place to follow the news, compare models and prices, and get a better sense of what to use.
Feedback has already helped shape it. Someone suggested adding cached-input prices and batch discounts to the pricing calculator, so those are now in. I’ve also added links from relevant news stories to pricing and benchmark information.
It started as something I wanted for myself, and I’m sharing it in case it’s useful to others too. I’m very open to feedback and feature requests, so let me know what would make it more useful for you.
