I'm Mertcan and I design and build BoardUI.

Almost every product I worked on lately had an agentic interface and they all needed the same pieces: a chat that streams, tool calls, loading states, a dashboard full of charts. I kept designing and building them from scratch, project after project. AI coding agents didn’t fix that. They can build UI but they have no taste and most of what they make looks like generic slop.

That's why I decided to design and build BoardUI.

It has 103 components (73 of them free), including 19 data charts, plus 10 Pro templates and 400+ design tokens. Everything is designed in Figma first, then built with React, Tailwind CSS v4 and React Aria, so keyboard and screen reader support come built in and dark mode is a single class.

Unlike a UI library you install from npm, BoardUI gives you the source. "npx boardui add data-table" copies the component and everything it depends on into your repo. From then on it's your code, with nothing to keep in sync.

What's different:

Your agent can install it for you. Connect the BoardUI MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or VS Code and ask "build a revenue dashboard with stat cards and an area chart". It picks the components, installs them and writes the page.
Your agent stays on-brand. Setup adds always-on rules, so generated UI uses the design tokens instead of guessing colors.
Agent screens are first-class: chat, multi-agent chat and loaders, plus the dashboards around them (finance, marketing, HR, medical).
Right-to-left layouts work out of the box for Arabic and Hebrew.
