I built MWT Voice to give people an alternative to expensive, subscription-based AI voice generation platforms.
Services like ElevenLabs and other cloud-based voice tools can require recurring subscriptions, usage credits, or character limits. I wanted to build something different: a free voice generation studio that people can use without worrying about monthly bills or running out of credits.
The idea was simple: bring multiple AI voice engines into one easy-to-use application. With Kitten TTS, Kokoro TTS, and Pocket TTS, users can generate speech, explore different voices, and even clone their own voice without dealing with complicated technical setups.
I also wanted to go beyond text-to-speech. That's why I included audio editing, audio merging, MP3/WAV conversion, and video-to-audio extraction.
Most importantly, I wanted users to have control. Download the app and your preferred models once, then generate and export audio locally, even without an internet connection.
No recurring subscriptions. No credit limits. No complicated setup. Just open the app, create your voice, and download your audio.
