TopCopilot is an AI translation add-in for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and WPS. It translates inside the document and keeps the original layout. Translate a full document, a selection, or a highlighted phrase. A bilingual view shows the translation alongside the original, and you can set the font, color, and other styles so the two are easy to tell apart.
I work in more than one language every day. People in different countries send Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, and I have to read them, reply, and keep the original layout.
Office’s built-in translation often failed, especially on long documents. The wording was also weaker than what current language models produce. When a translation did come back, there was no bilingual view, so checking a foreign-language file meant jumping between the source and a separate result. Reading and proofreading were both slow.
Many other translators ask you to upload the whole file. For contracts and other sensitive documents, that is a real risk. TopCopilot stays inside Office. The add-in reads the document in batches and sends those passages to the model. The whole file is never uploaded, and our servers do not keep the document text or the translation.
I built it to translate inside the file and keep the layout. A bilingual view puts the translation next to the original, and you can set the font and color so the two are easy to tell apart. It works on a full document, a selection, or a highlighted phrase, including files of 500+ pages.
