I built TaskSlice because I kept putting off tasks that felt too big to start. Not hard ones, just the ones with no obvious first step.
Plenty of apps can split a task into steps now, so I spent most of my time on what comes after: actually doing step one.
Focus mode puts one step on screen with a timer
If a step still feels too big, "I'm stuck" slices it smaller
Reminders open straight into focus mode, and a home-screen widget keeps your next step in sight
Streaks forgive one missed day a week, so one bad day doesn't undo your progress
Two things I added this week: a brain dump, where you get everything on your mind out at once and it sorts it into separate tasks, and "Draft this for me", which writes the email or message a step calls for.
It also answers in your language and fits your country. In the UK, "renew road tax" walks you through your logbook reference and the 6-month, 12-month or Direct Debit options, instead of a US DMV renewal.
