Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm qioaran, and I built RapReel.
The spark was my friend's birthday. I wanted to send something fun — not another gift card. I spent a whole evening in three different tools trying to make him a short rap video. I ended up with a decent beat, mediocre lyrics, and a face animation that looked like a hostage video. Nothing looked like him.
So I built the version I wanted: upload one front-facing photo, pick a stage and a length, and get back a vertical MP4 where you perform — the AI writes original lyrics, generates the vocals and the beat, and animates your face to the track. About a minute per render.
Two decisions I made on purpose:
Original music, not cloned voices. Every beat and vocal is generated from scratch. No artist voice cloning. It's harder to build this way, but it's the only version I'd feel okay putting my own face into.
Pay per video, no subscription. You make one video for a birthday, not forty a month. And if a render fails, you don't pay.
Where it's still rough: lyrics sometimes come back too generic, and the mouth sync can drift on longer clips. Both are what I'm fixing next.
