Take one photo of a bug, its droppings or an egg case. Shoo names it, boxes every bug in the photo and gives a plan for that species, free fixes first. When it cannot tell the exact species, it says so. First scan free, no sign up.

Hi Product Hunt. When people see a cockroach, the usual advice is to buy a spray. For the most common kitchen cockroach that often makes it worse, because spray scatters them deeper into the walls. What works depends on which bug you have, and most people can't tell them apart.
So Shoo starts there. Take one photo and it tells you what it sees: the species when the marks are visible, and the kind of bug when they are not ("a small cockroach"), with a box around every bug in the photo and a clear example photo to compare with. For 15 common household pests you get a plan for that species, free fixes first. For other bugs you get the known first steps and when to call someone.
It runs on the website today and the first scan needs no sign up. Your photo is deleted as soon as the answer comes back, unless you sign in and choose to keep it. The phone app is planned.
I'd love to hear where it gets things wrong. A photo it could not name, or a plan that did not fit your home, is the most useful feedback I can get.
