This spring we ran an experiment in Dubai. We took 40 questions a buyer or a tourist might ask about developers and luxury hotels and put them to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Emaar turned up in 79% of relevant answers. Aldar, one of the largest developers in the UAE, in 13%. Meraas appeared in 70% of Grok's answers and 5% of Gemini's, for exactly the same questions.

So "are we visible in AI?" has no single answer. It changes from assistant to assistant and from country to country. Geometrika measures exactly that.

How it works:

You create a project per domain and country, add aliases for the ways your brand gets spelled (handy for Arabic or Cyrillic names) and add the prompts and keywords your customers use. Geometrika runs them on a schedule across five assistants plus Google AI Overviews and Yandex. You see who gets cited and how that changes week to week.

How we calculate GEO Score and where it falls short

Most AI visibility tools give you a number out of 100 and leave it there. We put our formula in the docs, so here it is in plain words.

GEO Score = Visibility Rate 0.7 + Keyword Coverage 0.3

Visibility Rate is intensity: citations divided by checks. Ten prompts across five assistants makes 50 checks. If you're cited in 12 of them, that's 24%.

Keyword Coverage is breadth: the share of your prompts where at least one assistant cited you. Those same 12 citations can come from 3 prompts or from 9. Coverage is 30% in the first case and 90% in the second.
