The character consistency model works well for single-reference images, but for multi-panel manga workflows I'd love to see a "character library" feature where you can save and recall character appearances across sessions. Also, batch generation for comic pages would be huge for creators producing weekly content.
Ideogram Vector creates editable SVG artwork from a text prompt, or converts an existing image into vector form.
Problem: Most AI image tools give you flat pixels. That’s fine for a quick visual, but for logos, print designs and merch you need artwork that stays sharp at any size and that you can still edit, and a pixel image is hard to resize, recolor or tweak without redrawing it.
Solution: Vector generates SVG files directly. Describe a design in text, with optional image references, or upload an existing image and convert it to vector with no prompt needed. The result scales without losing sharpness.
What makes it different: The output stays editable. Per Ideogram, you can change colors to match a brand and select individual shapes and adjust them in a vector editor, so it works as a starting point you keep refining, not a finished image you can’t touch.
Key features:
Text to vector, with optional image references
Image to vector, with no prompt needed
SVG output that stays sharp at any size
Brand color changes
Select and adjust individual shapes in a vector editor
Use cases include typography, illustrations, logos and branding, print and merch, and labels and stickers
Web app and API access
Pricing (API, per SVG): text to vector starts at $0.13 for low quality, $0.16 for medium and $0.20 for high, with high quality plus references at $0.32. Image to vector is $0.10 per image.
Who it’s for: Designers, small brands and makers who need logos, lettering, stickers or print artwork they can scale and edit.
Try it via Ideogram Vector, create a vector or vectorize an image. Developers can use the API docs.
