Design your Claude Code status line with a live preview

Claude Code can show a line of live info under its prompt: model, git branch, context use, session cost, plan limits. Normally you write a script for it. Statusline Studio lets you design it instead: start from one of 25 templates, add from 75 segments (and 15 for subagent rows) and watch the line render live. Then copy one command that installs the script in Bash, Python or Node.js and turns it on in settings.json. Free, in your browser, no account. Nothing is sent to a server.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Behnia, a developer in Vienna with more than ten years in software, data and AI. BENIBIX is where I publish my free tools, and Statusline Studio is one of them.
Claude Code can print a line of live information under its prompt: the model, the folder, the git branch, how full the context window is, what the session costs. To get it, you write a script that reads a JSON payload and prints the line, and getting colours, icons and missing data right takes a while.
Statusline Studio turns that into a designer. Pick a template, add and style segments while the preview updates, and switch between a fresh, working, heavy or near-the-limit session to see how the line holds up. Then copy one command: it saves the script, backs up your settings.json and turns the line on. You can build the rows for running subagents too.
It all runs in your browser, with no account. A share link carries your design inside the link itself, so nothing goes to a server.
What do you keep on your status line?
