I kept seeing the Hotel Lobby AI rap videos on TikTok and wanted to make one with a friend. The tools I found were clunky, so I built my own.
How it works: you upload one or two photos and type a few details (names, an inside joke, the occasion). It writes the lyrics, generates the beat and vocals, and renders both of you performing the song with matching lip movement. A 12-second 720p video takes about 3 minutes.
Under the hood it uses a commercial video model with native audio. My part is everything around it: you can close the tab and get an email when the video is ready, failed renders refund credits automatically, and photos the model can't handle are caught at upload instead of wasting a run.
