Beside reads the visitor's page, points at answers, opens pages, clicks when asked and fills fields. Talk or type. Accessibility includes Easy mode, larger text, reading pages and answers aloud, translation and a private link for a friend to help. Developers get automatic bug reports with steps and browser details, plus click, rage-click and scroll heatmaps. Teams can help on screen and correct answers. Connect store data, Stripe, MCP or your own tools. Visitors review and submit forms.

Hi Product Hunt, we're Amelia Hernandez and Vadim Dunaevskiy. We built Beside for the moment a visitor asks for help and still has a page full of buttons, fields and products to figure out.
Beside reads the page they're on. It highlights the product or field it means, walks them through steps, opens the right page, clicks when asked and fills in details they provide. They can select a part of the page and ask about that exact bit. When something is stuck, Beside checks the fields, error messages and failed requests, then shows the evidence for its diagnosis.
Accessibility is built into the assistant. Easy mode gives visitors larger text and controls, simpler answers and one step at a time. It can read answers aloud, or read the page while highlighting each section. Visitors can translate the page, type or speak, pause the reading and stop an action. The interface also responds to device settings for reduced motion, higher contrast and reduced transparency.
A visitor can invite a friend through a private link to point things out and chat. Your team can take over with the page context, or request permission to help on the visitor's screen. An allowed teammate can point, press ordinary buttons and fill ordinary fields while the visitor watches and can stop the session.
For developers, Beside writes bug reports for buttons that do nothing, failed requests and JavaScript errors. Reports include the page, the steps before the problem, request or error details and the browser. Mark a problem fixed and see whether it returns. Heatmaps show clicks, rage clicks, selections, Beside's highlights and scroll reach, with views for different devices.
Your team can see the questions people ask on each page, correct an answer once for Beside to use first, and add knowledge from your site, notes and files. Record a walkthrough with pictures and Beside can show those steps alongside the live page. It also tracks which routes and highlights helped.
Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Shopware or Centra for product search and verified order and tracking lookups, and Stripe for billing information. Developers can add their own API actions or MCP tools and choose what Beside may use. Refund reviews can follow your policy and limits, with team approval or automatic refunds only when you've enabled them.
Visitors can also ask for an email when a price, stock label or another part of a page changes. Optional settings let Beside remember useful preferences with an undo and forget control, offer help after repeated clicks or errors, and check whether an answer helped.
We use OpenRouter for model calls, ElevenLabs for streamed voice, and TypeSafe's Jev for decisions such as finding the right page and checking whether a click commits something. The widget is JavaScript, the dashboard is React, and the backend is Django with PostgreSQL and Google Cloud storage.
Beside installs with one line of code and is included on every paid Conecto Chat plan. Page clicks and filling happen when visitors ask or agree. They review and submit forms themselves; payments, form submissions and destructive clicks remain with them.
