I built Bookletto for Family to help busy parents keep storytime personal. When dinner, chores, or a long work trip get in the way of 'one more story,' children can still hear a story in a familiar parent voice.
With Family Reading, you record a few short samples on your child's iPhone or iPad, preview the result, and save your voice. Bookletto can then narrate new English stories in your cloned voice, without you recording every book from beginning to end.
You can write your own stories or generate a draft with on-device AI from a topic and your child's age. Edit it, save it to your library, and play it in your parent voice while your child follows along with the current sentence on screen.
Story generation, voice cloning, and narration run on the device. Voice recordings aren't uploaded for speech generation, and each saved parent voice stays on the device where it was created.
There are five free listening minutes per device each day. Optional monthly or annual Family Reading plans unlock unlimited narration and additional saved parent voices, with Apple Family Sharing for subscription access. Parent voices currently support English stories on iPhone and iPad.
