I kept wanting ChatGPT and Claude to just do the thing on my Mac instead of telling me how. BCD is the bridge: a small agent on your Mac and a hosted MCP connector you add to ChatGPT or Claude.
What it's good for:

• "Pull the open to-dos out of these 3 meeting-notes PDFs"

Safety: every computer starts read-only. You turn on writing, commands or screen control per computer. Nothing listens on your network; the Mac only connects out.
