Taption’s latest launch expands its end-to-end subtitle workflow with a native Adobe Premiere Pro plugin, improved transcription accuracy, broader language support, and smarter personalized dictionaries. We’ve added bulk and direct-link imports, plus more export options including Final Cut Pro FCPXML, JSON, and custom formats. Smarter subtitle segmentation improves readability across languages. SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA readiness are also underway.

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Jay, founder of Taption. We started Taption in 2020 to make transcription and subtitle workflows easier, and the platform has grown a lot since then. Today, Taption helps creators and teams transcribe, edit, translate, and export subtitles in one workflow. For this launch, some of the bigger updates include our Adobe Premiere Pro plugin, improved transcription accuracy and language support, smarter personalized dictionaries, better subtitle segmentation, more import options, and expanded exports including FCPXML, JSON, and custom formats. Along the way, we’ve also shipped many smaller improvements based directly on user feedback and feature votes. A lot of them may seem small individually, but they make the day-to-day subtitle workflow much smoother. We’re also continuing to improve Taption for professional and enterprise use, with SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA readiness work underway. I’d love to hear how you currently handle transcription, subtitles, or multilingual video, and what still feels too manual.
