Hi Product Hunt, I make furniture. I run a small woodworking shop and sell what we make on Amazon, and for years I paid for advertising tools that charged a percentage of my ad spend. On furniture margins that math never worked. The more I spent, the more they made — nobody in that arrangement had any reason to get me to spend less. So I built my own. RedHen Labs started as software to manage exactly one Amazon account: mine. It still runs on it every night. It does rule-based automation across Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, an AI bid engine for Sponsored Display, keyword harvesting, negative keywords, dayparting, and per-product profitability. Changes go to an approval queue by default — you see what it wants to do before it does it, and you can undo it after. Pricing is flat: $19, $69 or $129 a month depending on what you switch on. Never a percentage of spend. What's new since the June launch: budget pacing was rebuilt from the ground up. It used to pool a monthly figure across a group of campaigns, which meant one campaign having a bad day quietly pulled everyone else's budget down with it. Now every campaign paces against its own money — spend too much today and it gives itself less for the rest of the month, spend too little and it gives itself more, and it can never exceed the daily ceiling you set. Nothing is shared between campaigns. The part I did not expect to be writing: I am not an engineer. Ten months ago I could not have written a line of this. It is now 2,140 commits, 189 migrations and 3,436 tests, built with AI assistants and a great deal of learning the hard way that a confident answer is not a verified one.
