Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Bowen, one of the builders behind TryIt. We started TryIt because shopping for university apparel still feels surprisingly old-fashioned—you usually have to browse static product photos or physically try everything on to know what actually looks good on you. TryIt brings AI into that experience. Right now, it’s built around Duke apparel: you can virtually try on products, mix and match different pieces, describe the look you want with a prompt, and get outfit recommendations. We’ve also been working with Duke Stores to bring TryIt into the actual shopping experience, so this isn’t just a demo—we’re testing how AI try-on can work alongside real products and real customers. We’re still early, and we’d especially love feedback on the try-on experience, recommendations, and what you’d want from a product like this if we expanded beyond Duke.
