Coii VoiceInput turns speech into text in your active window in about half a second - and never sends a byte anywhere. It runs fully on-device: no cloud, no account, 0 network requests. Hold Option+Space, talk, and text lands at your cursor with punctuation handled. Chinese, English, or both at once. Offline engines, searchable local history saved before processing, and it won't type into password fields. $19 once, 3 devices, 30-day trial, no card.
Hi Product Hunt!
I built Coii VoiceInput because every dictation tool I liked wanted my voice on someone else's server. This one doesn't: once the engine is downloaded, it works fully offline, and during normal use it makes 0 network requests. No account, no analytics.
Hold Option+Space, a small pill appears over whatever you're doing, and your words show up in the active window in roughly half a second - punctuation included. It handles Chinese, English, or both mixed in one sentence.
A few details I care about: the transcript is written to local history before injection starts, so a crashed engine or a failed paste never loses your text; injection falls back through the accessibility API, synthetic paste, then history; and it won't type into password fields.
It's $19 once (not a subscription), up to 3 devices, with a 30-day trial that needs no card or account.
Would love your feedback - especially on the mixed Chinese/English accuracy and anywhere the injection feels off.
