MOVO AI is the world’s first AI video agent for long-form creation that works right from your phone. It also works on the web. Shoot, upload, or start with an idea, then tell MOVO AI what you want. MOVO plans, creates, refines, keeps characters and scenes consistent, and brings the whole video together. Lock your phone and MOVO keeps working. Come back to review or make changes through chat. No prompt gymnastics. No canvas-heavy workflows. No manual clip stitching.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m one of the makers behind MOVO AI—the world’s first long-form video agent on your mobile.
My mother is a small creator who manages several social media accounts, and my father is her loyal cameraman. They are both over 60, but they still spend hours filming, editing, posting, and proudly watching every new like and follower.
They make little, if any, money from it. But social media gives them something real: an audience, confidence, and the feeling that their stories are being seen.
At the same time, I watched more founders around me become creators. They recorded videos between meetings, explained their ideas to customers, and built influence around themselves and their products.
I was different. I was an introverted engineer who began working in AI while completing my graduate degree at Carnegie Mellon University. I had ideas, but I didn’t understand camera movements, editing, or how to look natural on camera. Even with the newest iPhone, I often didn’t know where to begin.
My parents showed me how meaningful it could be to share your life. The founders around me showed me how necessary video was becoming. Together, they made me feel like I was being left behind by an era I was helping to build.
That gap became the reason we built MOVO AI.
What is MOVO?
MOVO turns an idea into a complete long-form video through one continuous conversation.
Start with a rough thought, script, reference, or a few assets. MOVO helps structure the story, establish the characters and visual direction, generate scenes, respond to feedback, and compose everything into a cohesive video.
You don’t need to know the technical name of every shot or write a complex prompt for each scene. You can simply talk to MOVO as you would talk to a director, creative partner, or friend.
Internally, we describe it as “Codex for video”: you direct what you want to create without writing every underlying instruction yourself.
What surprised us
We initially thought eliminating prompt gymnastics would mainly help beginners. Professional AI creators already knew how to write sophisticated prompts, select models, and manage complicated workflows.
We underestimated how much professionals would value this approach too.
They embraced it not because they couldn’t write prompts, but because they wanted to focus their attention on what matters more: story, structure, pacing, characters, and emotion.
Conversations with accomplished professors and screenwriters at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts reinforced this belief. Models and production tools will keep changing, but storytelling remains the foundation.
We realized that agentic creation is not simply an easier mode for beginners. It may be a more universal creative interface: accessible enough for a first-time creator, yet powerful enough to free professionals from repetitive production work.
Why mobile matters
Once creation becomes conversational, it no longer needs to live inside a desktop canvas.
A founder can start a product video before the next meeting. A store owner can review an advertisement from behind the counter. A parent can develop a family story in the park. A filmmaker can approve scenes while moving between locations. A hiker can capture an idea at the summit before the inspiration disappears.
You might describe an idea over breakfast, approve the storyboard on the train, review generated scenes after work, and refine the ending before bed.
MOVO continues working asynchronously, so you don’t need to babysit every generation. Creation can move with your life instead of requiring your life to stop.
From one video to an ongoing world
Within the same project, you can begin Episodes 2, 3, and 4 in new sessions without re-entering the same characters, products, locations, and creative direction.
MOVO carries that context forward, helping you develop an ongoing world rather than a collection of disconnected clips.
What we’d love you to test
We would especially value feedback on three things:
Does talking to MOVO feel like working with a useful director or creative partner?
Can you meaningfully develop a video on mobile without supervising every step?
How well does MOVO preserve your creative world across multiple episodes?
AI video still has many unsolved problems, and MOVO is still evolving. We want to hear where it understands your direction, where it surprises you, and where it falls short.
Our goal is not to replace human creativity. It is to close the gap between having a story and being able to show it.
Anyone with a story should be able to make it move—wherever life takes them.
Your idea. Moved by MOVO. 🎬
@edward_chen11 Keeping characters and creative direction consistent across multiple episodes sounds the really useful.
How does the MOVO handle it when you want to change a characters look without losing the rest of the story style???
Long-form on mobile is bold. Does the agent cut my own camera roll footage, or mostly generate the scenes? I make short videos with AI agents on desktop and the hardest part is always cutting on the voice timing, curious how you handle that.
@joertemple Hey Joer! MOVO mostly generates the scenes. Getting the cuts to match the timing and rhythm of a voice is an important challenge, and we believe AI editing will increasingly align with human taste and creative judgment.
We also see mobile as a way to make this kind of creation accessible to more people. Even if you prefer creating on desktop, you can continue guiding the agent and checking progress from your phone while it works in the background. You can keep your project moving whenever you have a moment, wherever you are.
Quick question I want to know: would you optimize the video quality based on different types of phones?
@jackinlearning96 Hey Jack! The agent runs in the cloud, so the quality of the videos it creates is the same regardless of which phone or PC you use.
@edward_chen11 Oh so how's the speed and cost? I want to know its difference with liblib or other similar tools I have heard
@jackinlearning96 Hey Jack! I’d encourage you to try MOVO with a project of your own to get a feel for the speed and cost.
Whereas other tools may require more hands-on work at a PC, MOVO offers an agent-first mobile experience: delegate the work, step away, and come back when you’re needed. If you enjoy working with agents, MOVO should feel familiar.
The agent keeps working in the cloud, even when you lock your phone or switch apps. It’ll notify you when your draft is ready or it needs your input. That frees up your time, so you can get other things done while MOVO handles the video.
@edward_chen11 Can it keep the same character across multiple scenes without extra editing?
@rohit62661 Yes, Rohit! MOVO handles character consistency automatically, so you don’t need to do any extra editing to keep the same character across scenes. It also remembers your characters across episodes within the same project, including changes made along the way, so you can keep building the story without describing them all over again.
Will there be an ability to create with teams live in a session?
@kevin_van_witt1 Great question, Kevin! As agents become more autonomous, we envision each session having just one teammate taking the lead, with multiple sessions collaborating within the same project.
How the team divides the work would shape those sessions: one might focus on the story, another on character design, or each could handle a different scene or episode. They would draw on shared project context and assets, while each agent runs independently with a clear task and direction. Teammates could work in parallel and build on one another’s progress from a PC or phone, wherever they are.
This is a collaboration experience we hope to bring to a future version of MOVO.
Is there a limitation in the movies time?
@daniel_wishnia Hey Daniel! In principle, there’s no fixed limit on a movie’s length, as long as you have enough credits to keep creating. The ideal length depends on the story and what keeps it engaging from start to finish.
The story is at the heart of it all. We believe great stories and the people behind them will gain more and more creative leverage, even if they have no experience shooting films or writing prompts. At the same time, we believe AI agents will get better at telling longer stories while keeping them coherent and engaging.
does it ping you when a draft is ready after you lock the phone, or do you have to open the app to check?
@neerajnathany Yes! You’ll get notified when your draft is ready, even if your phone is locked. It’ll only ping you when something needs your attention, so you don’t have to keep checking the app.
@edward_chen11 Good to know it only pings for the stuff that matters. Does it also tell you if a render fails?
@neerajnathany Generally, if a render fails, the agent will first try to fix it and check the result itself. It’ll only notify you if it can’t resolve the issue and needs your input.
If you enable approval for credit spending, though, it’ll ask for confirmation on your phone before every action that uses credits, even when it’s confident it can handle the issue on its own.
