Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Matcha Filter Remover to solve a very specific problem: photos with that heavy yellow-green “matcha” color cast.
Most photo editors can reduce green manually, but simply turning down the green channel often leaves skin tones gray, shadows purple, and the whole photo looking unnatural.
So I built a tool focused specifically on correcting this kind of color cast.
🍵 **How it works:**
• Low & Medium corrections run entirely in your browser — free, no sign-up, and your photo stays on your device.
• For more difficult photos, you can optionally use AI-assisted correction.
• You can compare the before and after result before downloading.
One thing I wanted to be very clear about: this tool corrects visible pixels — it doesn't “recover” an original photo or reveal hidden information.
You can try the browser version for free.
I’d love to hear what you think, especially if you have a heavily green-tinted photo to test it with. Feedback on the correction quality and UX would be incredibly helpful.
Thanks for checking it out! 🍵
