KidsFirst is a free co-parenting app with an AI Conflict Filter that rewrites hostile messages before they land, plus topic-based threads, a shared calendar, expense tracking, and document storage. Every feature, free for both parents.

I started KidsFirst after watching my own daughter get caught in the crossfire of adult conflict. I formed a team and we built an app that we wished existed: a local solution that parents actually need, and most importantly, one that remains completely free for both parents to use.
The feature we care most about is the AI Conflict Filter. Other apps detect tone and warn the sender, who can dismiss the warning and send the original anyway. KidsFirst rewrites it instead, and the filter can't be switched off, so what reaches you has already been through the filter. You get the logistics without the insult.
The question everyone asks first is how it's free. We're not run to make a profit. Running costs are largely covered by AWS's startup program, and we keep overheads low. Every feature is free to both parents today, with no paid tier, and the core co-parenting tools will stay free, always.
On privacy: we don't sell or trade your data, we don't run ads, and we never train AI on your private messages.
Today, KidsFirst is founder-led and community-built, driven by a growing group of parents, professionals, and specialists who believe kids shouldn't pay the price for their parents' conflict, and who help make the app better every day.
