Hi, I'm Dan, a mixing engineer and audio educator in Melbourne.
My students kept splitting songs into stems, getting a zip of files, and then needing a DAW just to hear the guitar part on its own. So I built StemConsole: split a song in the browser and the stems open in a mixer, where you can solo, mute, balance and loop before you download anything. Then it grew into a practice room.
Free: vocal removal and a 4-stem split (vocals, drums, bass, other) with the mixer, a saved library so every song reopens where you left off, share links so bandmates or students can open your stems with no account, MP3 downloads and mix bounces, no watermarks, no install. Your first split does not need an account.
Pro ($6.99 a month or $49 a year) is the full practice room: slow down or speed up without changing pitch, change key, named loops, tap tempo and count-in, plus 6 stems with guitar and piano and WAV.
