Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built SideNote Pro because I was getting tired of constantly leaving whatever I was working on just to open ChatGPT for a quick question, translation, explanation, or bit of text processing. On a wide monitor, it felt much more natural to have AI sitting beside the workspace instead. So SideNote Pro became a native Windows 11 assistant that can stay docked at the side of the screen and be invoked whenever you need it. Over time I added the things I personally wanted while working: actions on selected text, image and document support, local folder search, multiple AI providers, local models, and BYOK so you're not locked into another AI subscription. The goal is pretty simple: use AI without leaving your work. I'd really appreciate any feedback from Windows users - especially on the workflow and whether the “assistant beside your work” approach feels useful to you.
