At Unicheck.ai, we believe that products that genuinely work are built on more than a business idea. Behind them are real people, real stories, and firsthand experience. Here’s how Roman Hahn describes the story behind Unicheck.ai: “As a software engineer, I was frustrated by exhausting live-coding interviews filled with algorithmic problems that had little to do with real work. Later, when I started conducting interviews myself, I tried to make them practical and realistic—but ChatGPT changed everything. Candidates began using hidden AI agents to answer questions in real time. If the full task appeared on the screen, the agent could solve it. Then I accidentally discovered a way to expose them. I had left a harmless error in a Fibonacci function—irrelevant to the task and something a human would normally ignore. But the AI noticed it and instructed the candidate to point it out. The candidate did exactly that. That was when I realized I had created a trap for the agent. This discovery became Unicheck.ai.” And there is one more thing about us: we love a good challenge. So here is one directly from our team directly: “Think you can fool Unicheck.ai? Come and try. Use your smartest workaround, your most discreet AI agent, or any other trick you can think of. We are confident we will catch it". So, it's a dare.

I've worked with @roman_hahn and @abbbbram on many different projects. Each of them personally build many successful software development teams and I won't even count how many teams they helped to find right candidates.

They know first-hand all the ins and outs of hiring processes and from that experience they've built Unicheck.ai. Can't wait to see how it will shape hiring in our industry.
