Most collection apps only work with barcodes — great for mainstream releases, useless for vintage vinyl, indie pressings, or imported CDs. Record Vault reads the album cover AND the back tracklist from two photos using Gemini's multimodal AI, auto-filling artist, year, genre, label, and every track — no barcode needed. It also generates a short AI "docent" audio guide on each album's history, and lets you tap any track to stream it instantly via YouTube, right inside your shelf.
👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I built Record Vault because cataloging a physical vinyl/CD collection is genuinely tedious — most apps rely on barcode databases that miss vintage or indie releases entirely.
Record Vault uses Gemini's multimodal model to read the front cover + back tracklist from a single photo and auto-fills artist, year, genre, label, and the full tracklist. It also generates an AI "docent" audio guide about each album's history, and lets you tap any track to stream it via YouTube.
Built solo with Flutter + Firebase. Free to try — would love your feedback, especially on scan accuracy!
