Select text on any page, click the pill, pick one of your saved prompts, and the answer streams in right there. Replace swaps a rewrite into the page. Built-in AI, so it works on install: no API key.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm the maker.
I counted how often I left the page I was reading to ask an AI something: about 40 times a day, around 34 seconds each. Copy, switch tab, paste, retype the same instruction, copy the answer, switch back.
I tried the existing fixes. Side panels take a third of the screen and load a whole chat app. Some extensions sit at hundreds of MB before you type. Others want your own API key on the first screen. All of them fix the tab problem by giving you a second app.
InstaPrompt is the opposite: select text, a small pill appears, pick one of your saved prompts, and the answer streams in next to the text. For rewrites, Replace swaps the result into the page, so a blunt email gets fixed inside the compose box. Nothing selected? A popup lets you paste text and run the same prompts.
What I would love from you:
which instruction do you retype most often? I want the default prompts to cover it.
Every answer here shapes the next release.
