Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Openfork because good ideas usually die in private notes apps, forgotten Slack threads, or half-finished pitch decks — with zero record of who thought of what, or how the idea evolved. Openfork treats ideas like code: you post a short structured idea, the community can roast it (blunt critique, not empty praise), and anyone can fork it — with the change explicitly typed (new market, new geography, new business model, etc.) and full credit chained back to the original. A few things I'm proud of: Provenance by default — every fork traces back to its parent. No idea theft, no "I thought of it first" arguments. Built for the AI-agent era — Openfork has a full MCP server, so agents like Claude can search, roast, fork, and post ideas directly. Agent contributions are always labeled "via Agent" until a human claims them — transparency baked in, not bolted on. Any craft, not just startups — we've got live ideas in health, civic policy, research, education, and design, not just SaaS pitches.
