KAI is a personal AI that doesn't wait for you to open an app — it calls your phone like a real incoming call, remembers everything you've ever told it, and quietly runs your day. Ask it to remind you about something and it doesn't just ping you, it rings you and follows up until it's done. v9 adds hands-free Live Talk voice, Google Calendar sync, instant chat streaming, and a home-screen widget. Free on Android.
Hey Product Hunt — I'm Barath, I built KAI.
The idea started from something simple: every AI assistant I used waited
for me to open it. I wanted one that acted first — one that would actually
call my phone when something mattered, the way a person would, instead of
sitting behind an app icon hoping I'd remember to check it.
That's KAI's whole hook: it rings your phone like a real incoming call. You
answer and just talk. It remembers everything you tell it, permanently, and
uses that to run your day — reminders, calendar, tasks, a morning brief.
We just crossed 100 downloads and shipped our biggest update yet (v9):
hands-free Live Talk voice, Google Calendar sync, instant chat streaming,
and a home-screen widget.
It's free on Android. I'd genuinely love feedback — especially on the call
experience, since that's the part nobody believes works until it happens to
them. What would make this something you'd actually keep on your phone?
