A travel notebook written by your own AI agent over MCP. Hand Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini photos and passing remarks during the trip; it writes descriptions, builds the timeline, and keeps your words verbatim. Private by default, shared by one link.
Hi Product Hunt π
Every travel journal I ever started died around day five. Not because I stopped caring β day five is when the trip gets good. You've walked twenty thousand steps, dinner ran long, and the last thing you want at 11pm is homework.
Then I noticed I was already producing the whole journal every day, just not in writing. I photograph constantly, and every frame carries a time and a place. And I say things out loud β "the noodle place from 1861", "never taking a night bus again". Photos and muttered remarks: that's everything a journal is made of. What killed my journals was the third job β sitting down to turn them into prose.
So I built Vifo to delegate exactly that job, to the AI assistant you already use. It's an MCP connector β you add one URL to Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, and from then on you just send photos and say things in the same chat. The agent reads time and place, writes a description for every photo, and builds a day-by-day notebook. At night you say "wrap up today."
Two rules I refused to bend on:
Your words are never rewritten. The agent writes its own descriptions separately; whatever you said is quoted verbatim. The system enforces this β it's not a style choice. In ten years, "never taking a night bus again" will matter more than any generated sentence.
Shared pages never leak your location. Every phone photo carries GPS precise enough to find the doorway you stood in. Share links strip all of it β your family sees the story, not your coordinates.
Two real notebooks are open to read, no account needed: vifo.app/sample/lisbon and vifo.app/sample/iceland.
Honest limits: you need an MCP-capable assistant (a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan, mostly), and the free tier covers 10 trips with 50 photos each β video needs Plus ($6.9/mo).
I'd love to hear how you keep trip memories today β and what would make you actually reopen them. I'll be here all day.
