Chessy started because i wanted it for myself. i'd been stuck at the same rapid rating for months, and every app kept handing me the same puzzles and the same advice it hands everyone else. none of it knew the first thing about how i actually play or what i keep getting wrong. so i built the thing i wanted.
it connects to your Chess.com or Lichess account and works off your real games. the puzzles are positions you personally blundered. the weekly report is about your week. and you can ask the coach about any game you've played and get an actual answer, on the board.
