Enter a UK postcode and your children’s ages to get local day-out ideas matched to the forecast. Filter by distance, budget, transport and accessibility, then compare options on a map. Free on web, iOS and Android.
Hi Product Hunt,
I’m Cliff, a dad of three in the UK. Family Activity Finder grew out of a recurring weekend problem: finding somewhere local that suited children of different ages, worked with the weather, and did not take half an hour of searching across Google, maps and venue websites.
Enter a UK postcode, select the children’s ages, and the app suggests nearby activities matched to the forecast. You can narrow the results by date, distance, budget, transport, indoor or outdoor preference, and accessibility needs, then compare the options on a map.
I built the first version myself while learning how to take an idea through the full product cycle. It is now live on the web, iOS and Android. There is a free tier, while Premium adds multi-age searches and advanced filters.
I’d particularly value feedback on the quality of the suggestions and what information parents still need before choosing a day out. Try it with your postcode and tell me where it helped, or where the result missed the mark.
Thanks for taking a look.
