We started Pixelsurf with a simple observation: AI companions were getting incredibly good at conversation, but they still didn't feel like someone who was actually part of your life. Most AI companions live inside a separate app. You have to remember to open it, start the conversation, and keep coming back. That felt fundamentally different from how we communicate with the people we're closest to. So we started building Pixelsurf around a different idea: **what if your AI companion could simply live where you already talk to everyone else?** Pixelsurf brings your companion directly into iMessage and Telegram. You can text, send photos and voice messages, make voice calls, and share the random little things happening throughout your day. Over time, it remembers your conversations and gets to know you, so interactions feel less like starting another chatbot session and more like continuing an ongoing relationship. As we built it, our focus shifted from simply making the AI smarter to making it feel more **present**. That led us to build better long-term memory, customizable personalities and avatars, voice conversations, image generation, and companion videos. We're still early, but the goal behind Pixelsurf has stayed simple: **build an AI companion that doesn't feel like another app you have to use, but someone who's already there when you want to talk.**
