We're the team behind Actuant. We build from Melbourne, and we built this because of a feeling we kept hearing from every builder we talked to: you ship something, you post the link, and then nothing. No signups, no traffic, not even an error. Just silence.
It feels like a verdict on the idea. It almost never is. Usually it's four boring things nobody told you about. Google never indexed it. The link preview is blank so it looks like spam. It renders empty without JavaScript so AI assistants can't read it at all. Something's broken on mobile. A verdict you can't argue with.
A checklist you can fix.
That's what Actuant does. You give it a URL. It loads your app in a real browser and runs 52 deterministic checks: security headers, indexing, structured data, AI crawler readability, performance, mobile, trust signals. No model decides your score. Each check probes something real and gives the same answer every time. Then it fixes what it can as pull requests you review, and it keeps watching.
Every deploy gets re-audited, and you only hear from us when something got worse.
Two things we're proud of.
We ran it on ourselves first. actuant.dev scores 89/100. 46 pass, 5 partial, 1 fail. The fail is our Content Security Policy, and it's right there on the homepage. Every tool in this space shows you a mocked dashboard with a perfect number. We'd rather show you the real one, including the part we haven't fixed yet.
It works where you already work. Actuant ships as an MCP server, so Claude Code, Cursor or Codex can audit and fix your app without you opening a dashboard. Tell your agent "audit my app" and it does.
