Hi Product Hunt community! 👋 I'm super excited to launch BYOK Pro Chat today! 💡 Why I built this: Like many of you, I rely heavily on AI assistants daily, but paying monthly subscriptions for multiple tools or being locked into fixed UI limitations felt frustrating. At the same time, running models through official API keys is significantly cheaper and gives us full control over privacy and model choice (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, etc.). 🛠️ What problem it solves: I wanted a lightweight, seamless Chrome extension that lets you chat with your favorite LLMs anytime, anywhere in your browser—using your own API keys. No markup costs, no data tracking, just pure control and flexibility. 🚀 How it evolved: Initially, this was just a simple sidebar tool I built for myself to quickly draft emails and summarize articles. Over time, I refined the UI to make switching between different models instant, optimized context memory, and added custom prompt support.
