Bring your coding agents and teammates into one shared visual desktop. People and agents can edit the persistent workspace together in real time and use its contents as shared context. Analyze information and build multistep plans visually. Iterate on prototypes your teammates can review and build on. It’s free with no signup required: clicking "start a desktop" copies prompt instructions - paste them into Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor and your coding agent can immediately use it.

Today, most of us communicate with coding agents through a chat thread in a terminal. That's sufficient for small tasks but breaks down for conveying our intent for complex tasks - planning and research, or exploratory, iterative prototyping.
Users need a workspace to brainstorm plans collaboratively and guide complex long-running tasks across multiple agents. Also, teammates need a place to pick up that plan, research, or prototype without replicating work in their own chat.
collaborate.dev is our computing environment designed for people and agents to work together. It is a shared visual desktop for collaborating with coding agents.
We want everybody to try this new way of working. Instead of making yet another agent harness or API wrapper, we built a visual computing environment that lets you work with the coding-agent workflow you already have.
It's free, there is nothing to download or configure and sign-up is optional.
Just press "Start a desktop" and it will copy prompt instructions to your clipboard. Paste the clipboard instructions into Claude Code or Codex and your coding agent will know what to do and use it with you on any task.
