Hi, I wanted to make a song for someone. Not a playlist, not a card — an actual song, about them. Everything I found either cost a lot and took a week, or handed back something that sounded like a stock track with a name dropped in. So I built Songcove. You tell it who the song is for, the occasion, and a few real details — inside jokes, how you met, the thing they always say. It writes the lyrics, and you hear a 60-second preview before you pay anything. If the lyrics aren't right, you change them and it writes again. The part I spent the most time on: you can have it sung in your own voice. Hum or sing a few lines — off-key is fine, "Happy Birthday" is fine — and the finished song comes back sounding like you. Not a soundalike. You. That was by far the hardest thing to get working, and it's the reason I kept going. I'm launching this early and on purpose. It works end to end today, but I've been the main person using it, so I'd rather find out what's broken from you than from a guess. Two things I'd genuinely like to hear: — Where do the lyrics feel generic? That's the thing I'm working on next. — If you try the voice clone, does it actually sound like you?
