AI Project Guardian takes encrypted, de-duplicated snapshots of your project automatically. When Claude, Cursor or Codex breaks your code, roll back to any version in one click. 100% offline. $20/yr, 14-day free trial.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Rashad, a solo developer.
Like a lot of you, I code with AI agents every day — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex. They're incredible until the one time they confidently rewrite a file and break something that worked for months. Git helps, but agents commit over your history, and half the time the damage is noticed three sessions later.
So I built AI Project Guardian. It sits quietly in the background and takes encrypted snapshots of your project automatically. When an AI edit goes wrong, you roll back to any version in one second — with a visual diff so you can see exactly what changed.
Two design decisions I refused to compromise on:
- 100% offline. Your code never leaves your machine. Snapshots are AES-256-GCM encrypted on your own disk. No cloud, no account, no telemetry.
- AI should read, not guess. The Project Brain feature generates factual memory files (project map, changelog, design notes) from your actual code, so every new AI session starts with real context instead of you re-explaining everything.
It also converts PDF/Word/Excel to AI-ready Markdown, upgrades rough prompts into professional ones, and keeps RTL/LTR multilingual sites consistent (I build Arabic/English apps, so I needed that one myself).
Windows, 14-day free trial, no credit card. I'm here all day — tell me what's missing, and I'd love to hear your worst "AI destroyed my code" story.
