One thing that would make this even more useful for me: let me highlight a specific timestamp range before generating the skill.md, so the output focuses only on the section I actually care about. Right now it processes the whole video which is great for context, but when I just need steps 4 through 7 from a 30 minute tutorial it feels like overkill. A simple shift-click to mark start and end would be perfect.

The YouTube link to transcript thing worked on a long tutorial I threw at it. Timestamp references actually came in handy when I pasted the output into Claude.

finally a way to actually use youtube tutorials with llms. tried it on a coding walkthrough and the timestamped transcript made it way easier to ask follow up questions without losing context.
